The clock is the browser’s high-resolution timer and it starts on your first click, not on page load. No reaction-time tax, no rounding games — the number you see is clicks divided by real elapsed seconds.

What we make
cpstest.lol is a single-purpose tool: you choose a timer from 1 to 100 seconds, click or tap the pad as fast as you can, and it reports your clicks per second, total clicks, clicks per minute, and a speed rank. Your first click starts the countdown, and your best result for each timer is saved locally.
It is a website, not an app. That keeps load times short, works the same on a phone and a desktop, and means there is no account wall. The engine that runs on the home page is the one described on every other page, so what you read and what you use never drift apart.
Our story
Click-speed testing grew out of competitive Minecraft, where players on PvP servers — Kohi among the best known — compared how many times per second they could click during a fight. A one-second "how fast can you click" check became a standard warm-up, and CPS entered the wider gaming vocabulary from there.
The idea spread past Minecraft into a general benchmark: a quick way to sanity-check a new mouse, compare clicking techniques, or just satisfy curiosity. cpstest.lol is a modern, honest take on that benchmark — the same measurement, without the clutter that piled up on older tools.
We keep one thing sharp: measure clicking speed precisely, present it clearly, and get out of the way. If the tool ever feels slower or busier than opening a stopwatch, we have failed at the only job it has.
What we stand for
The clock is the browser’s high-resolution timer and it starts on your first click, not on page load. No reaction-time tax, no rounding games — the number you see is clicks divided by real elapsed seconds.
The page is static HTML with one small interactive island. It loads in well under a second, has no autoplay video, no interstitials, and no "install our app" wall between you and the pad.
Every timer length keeps its own best CPS in your browser’s local storage. Nothing is uploaded, there is no leaderboard to game, and there is no account to create.
Every timer, every feature, forever. There is no premium tier, no locked 100-second mode, and no ads chopping up a run.
Who it is for
New mouse, new switches, changed the debounce setting? Run three tests before and after and you have a real comparison instead of a vibe.
Butterfly, jitter, or drag clicking — pick one timer, track it across sessions, and watch whether the practice is actually working.
No sign-up, no download. Click a pad for five seconds and find out where you land, from Turtle to Godlike.
Why this one
Started on the first click, driven by a high-resolution clock, ended to the millisecond. Older tools often start on page load or round the window, which quietly inflates or deflates scores.
Every result comes with a plain-language band — Turtle through Godlike — anchored to typical human and technique clicking rates, not an arbitrary curve.
The mute toggle is obvious, the reset needs a deliberate second tap, and the how-it-works and FAQ pages describe the exact tool you are using — not a generic write-up bolted on for search engines.
